Aboard the Blues Train: Musicians ride Amtrak to Longview, Texas

It’s blues music — the music of her late father, rock ‘n’ roll hall-of-famer Aaron Thibeaux “T-Bone” Walker. And it’s the music that will be performed Friday and Saturday at the annual T-Bone Walker Blues Fest at Maude Cobb Convention and Activity Center.

On Tuesday, aboard the Amtrak Texas Eagle that had left Dallas for Longview, she wailed her father’s signature song, “Stormy Monday,” as musician Buddy Flett strummed along on his guitar.
