Cleveland moves forward with design of intermodal transit center

CLEVELAND – Initial designs for an intermodal hub in downtown Cleveland – with a recommended site and ballpark pricing – will be wrapped up by the end of the year, city planners say.

That doesn’t guarantee the long-dreamt-of bus-train center will come to be. But the fact that RTA, Greyhound, Amtrak and Cleveland are jointly pursuing the plan probably makes it more likely to happen than at any time in two decades of on-and-off talk.
