Prosecution, defense rest in ‘Midnight Rider’ civil trial against CSX Transportation

CHATHAM CO., GA (WTOC) – For the first time this week, attorneys for CSX Transportation got their chance to call witnesses in a civil trial on Friday to help make their case. 

The company is being sued by the parents of Sarah Jones, who died after being hit by a train operated by CSX in 2014, while working on the film crew of the production, “Midnight Rider,” a biopic of a Greg Allman autobiography.

Nashville: Changes At CSX Transportation Means Job Cuts

NASHVILLE, Tenn. – Cuts are expected to be made at CSX Transportation in Nashville after officials said they made changes to improve efficiency, safety and service.

A lot has changed for CSX Transportation in the last few years, employees tell us many of the changes began at the beginning of this year.
