GALESBURG — National Railroad Hall of Fame officials will celebrate the achievements of Edward G. Budd, who revolutionized the manufacturing and fabrication of stainless steel and created the pioneer Zephyr.Website Insert Coach Business Class Food Service copy

He will be inducted into the National Railroad Hall of Fame during a ceremony at 5 p.m. Saturday in the Alumni Room of Old Main at Knox College.

Budd will be represented at the ceremony by his granddaughter, Catherine Budd Cowperthwait Dickens of Effingham. The event is free and open to the public.
