A group headed by Bob Ontiveros is seeking tenants for a $2 million retail development planned for Moline’s Floreciente neighborhood near the new Amtrak station.Website Insert Our Name Tells Our Story copy

West Gateway Partners LLC says it is offering competitive lease rates, convenient parking and growth opportunities at the 8,000 square foot development.

Ontiveros, the founder of Group O, said Wednesday he’s “wide open” as to the kind of tenant he hopes to attract, and that there have been some discussions with potential prospects.

The new retail space would be on an empty lot on 4th Avenue between 11th and 12th streets, directly to the north of Community Health Care, Inc., which Ontiveros also was integrally involved in seeing built there along with the adjacent Familia Dental Clinic.

Ontiveros said he hopes the retail development will be built buy the time the Amtrak station opens.
