Missanabie Cree receives letters of support for Algoma Central Service

Municipalities, First Nations and other organizations are being asked to write letters and resolutions supporting the Missanabie Cree First Nation and the Algoma Passenger Train Working Group’s efforts to reinstate passenger train service.Website Insert Passenger Trains Very Well copy

The Town of Hearst and several First Nation communities along the route have already come on board, said Linda Savory-Gordon, co-chair of the Coalition for Algoma Passenger Trains (CAPT).

Council for the Town of Wawa and the City of Sault Ste. Marie are both expected to receive a staff report in the near future and could have resolutions on the table by the end of the month.
