Phase 2 SunRail construction underway in Central Florida’s Osceola County

The state on Monday officially launched the project, which will take the commuter rail service from Sand Lake Road in Orange County to Poinciana.

One of four new SunRail stations will be located at Tupperware near Osceola Parkway and South OBT.

It’s the first extension of the commuter rail system since opening two years ago and will cost $187 million, with the federal government paying half.
