State of Massachusetts details on pilot plan for commuter rail return pending

State transportation officials are placing final details on a pilot train program that would test the popularity and viability of daily commuter rail-service return between Boston’s South Station and Buzzards Bay, with a stop in Wareham.

State Rep. David Vieira, R-Falmouth, will host an April 14 Community Forum with top Massachusetts Bay Transportation Authority and state Department of Transportation managers to outline the pilot program.
