Swedtrac to refurb SJ X2000 tilt trains

SWEDISH national passenger operator SJ signed a contract worth more than SKr 1bn ($US 120m) with Knorr Bremse subsidiary Swedtrac on April 14 for the interior refurbishment of its fleet of 36 X2000 tilting inter-city trains.Website Insert Perfect Answer copy

Swedtrac will upgrade a total of 227 vehicles in a project which will increase seating capacity by 15%. All seating, carpets, interior panelling, and luggage racks will be replaced and the trains will be equipped with a redesigned bistro and kitchenette in first class.
