Want to spend a day on the set of AMC’s “Hell on Wheels” in Canada, and the next day in the outdoors and having dinner with local movie star Anson Mount?

Donors to Mount’s charity of choice – Fighting Duchenne Foundation Inc. (FightDMD) – can enter to win the grand prize Canada trip through the end of August.

FightDMD is a Dickson-based nonprofit organization, founded by Terry Marlin in 2010, to raise money for Duchenne muscular dystrophy research. Mount regularly participates in the annual Dunk Duchenne’s Celebrity Basketball Game at Dickson County High School.

Mount, who grew up in White Bluff, stars as Cullen Bohannon in the television Western “Hell on Wheels,” which runs on AMC.

Mount is raising money for FightDMD through Omaze Inc., and offering several rewards to donors, in addition to the Canada trip.

Donors earn a chance to win the grand prize Canada trip with each monetary contribution, and increase their chances of winning based on the amount donated.
